Yeah, I've just been waiting for a reptile to show up so I could finally include the last part of the blog title.This beautiful creature is a young, relatively small boa constrictor. He was discovered wandering Toronto, evidently having escaped from somewhere, and ended up behind-the-scenes at the shelter. He's certainly eye-catching! I wonder if someone will come claim him?

Holy cow. Good thing he got picked up before winter. (Do you actually know it's a 'he'?)
Nope, I don't think we know the gender, I was just using a generic 'he'. It was lucky he was found before it got even colder, now he's happily in a warm tank.
